I Love Deforest!!!!
Ode to my 1st Home....Well my parents are in their new house and all that is left in Deforest are my memories! I'M SO SAD!!!! I swear no one else is!! Doesn't anyone care about my 1st home. 30+ years of memories, that's what they are now just memories. As my parents slowly clear out my home, I have become overwhelmed with memories of my past childhood days. The flooring in the back porch has surfaced as my faded memories of going in and out of the porch on many summer days playing with all my friends has returned. It is such a blessing to be a kid, why did we want to grow up so fast? That home is filled with many good memories of the past and I will always cherish it. It was the PERFECT home!! I will never forget you 3931 Mueller Rd................

sorry. that would be really hard letting go of the house you grew up in. i remember running up the stairs to your bedroom and sleeping over. good memories. i also remember walking from your house to church for the walk a thon we had. just think...now you're providing those great memories for your children. being a kid is great! BFFAA jess :)
